I wanted to share this snapshot of sheet music and set list from Alyson Williams at The Harlem Cultural Festival 2021 at The Apollo Theater in Harlem. First produced in 1969 and brought back to the world famous Apollo Theater on November 28th 2021.
The night really captured the spirit of the festival's creator Tony Lawrence and the original vision for the Harlem Cultural Festival...Alyson Williams performed my song " Summer Nights In Harlem" with The Grammy Award Winning Count Basie Orchestra under the direction of Scotty Barnhart.
A special thanks to Scotty Barnhart for creating an incredible orchestral arrangement " Summer Nights In Harlem"... and to the incredible vocals of Ms Alyson Williams.
